PointFam is a practical card and points playbook for families who travel. It is written for parents who want every card they carry to pull its weight, clear family math, and calm guidance on using points without the noise.

We also publish a section for U.S. military families, covering active-duty members and spouses who want to use every benefit their cards offer, and members getting ready to leave active duty. That section sits alongside our other family guides. It is one part of the site, not the whole brand.

How we work

• Numbers first. Every fee, credit, and benefit links to the issuer's official page and shows a "Last verified" date.
• Every card, used well. Some families, ours included, run six or more cards and use every benefit on each. Whether you carry one card or eight, we help you use what you pay for.
• Plain English. No hype, no countdown timers, no "best card ever."
• Honest about limits. Card terms change often. When something is unclear or unconfirmed, we say so.
